Hmmmm. It all depends on what it is missing...Know what is MIA? Then you'd have to do some searching for a woodworker who knows what s/he is doing concerning spinning wheels.

I'm of the opinion that it's worth it to restore old things to new. However, for learning to spin and may not be worth it. They can be quirky and difficult to fix up or "upgrade."
