First bag...extra stitches!! :(
Hi, I am having an issue with my first felted bag. I just finished knitting 50 rows with 96 stitches casted on and just realized I have 2 extra stitches. My question is since it is a felted bag and the number of stitches on the needle is still an even number, is there maybe a way of tweaking the rest of the pattern?

This is the pattern.

Work even in stockinette stitch for 50 rounds. (this is where I am)
Add novelty yarn knit 1 round. Change to reverse stockinette and continue for 18 rounds.

Top Edge: Continue with wool yarn only.

Round 1: *k2tog, k10* repeat around. (88 sts.)
Round 2 & 4: Purl.
Round 3: knit
Round 5: cast off knitwise.

Thanks so much, I really don't want to have to undo everything I have already done, I will take a little less than perfect object if I have to.
Follow your bliss...
