If you can I'd go look at the Berroco suede and the Lion brand suede. Because of the difference in weight and yarn type substituting would be difficult. At the very least gauge would be hard to achieve.
ETA: I don't mean to discourage or sound like a broken record here.
It's just that I tried substituting the LB for Berroco in a pair of booties and it didn't work at all.
