Here's where I am on my purse, using some really funky colored twine from ACE Hardware. I've had to frog it about 4 times because this stuff is soooooooooo stiff and difficult to work with, but I think I'm over the hump.
The crazy color is what grabbed me. It's kind of a yellow with a touch of lime in it which makes the color kind of funky or yucky, depending on how you look at it.
I think that, instead of the ribbon, I'm going to thread something beaded through the eyelets. I've got some glass rods in this exact color, so I'm going to make some crazy beads, add some Swarovski's and make it really wild.
