Increasing size of rows unintentionally
New to knitting - Increasing size of rows unintentionally. What am I doing wrong ? - am going into each stitch only once. Help appreicated.

There are two ways (that I know of!) to unintentionally add to a row. One is not getting the loop over the needle all the way, and thereby creating two separate loops. The other is crossing the yarn in front of the needle and then continuing to knit (this is an actual method of adding to a row.) Just go slow and take your time...you'll get the hang of it
