I have been searching for a thorough, easy to understand book of knitting stitches, with as many as possible. There are A LOT of books on this so before I make a decision I wanted to ask for suggestions here. I also found a cool site with 100 different pattern stitches for free but I would really like a book with more options.
I know that VogueKnitting has a book of stitches, I think it's called the Stitch Dictionary.....you can find it on Amazon, and I think it's also available for eBook readers too.
Personally, I think Vogue has pretty good knitting publications, but if there's someone else who has a recommendation, I would consider their recommendation above mine.
I agree...the Vogue Stitchonary series is great! I have the knit/purl one, the one on cables, and the one on color knitting. Every one of them have beautiful swatches kintted up with the instructions, color schemes, and graphs.
