Knitting with yarn around the neck (Portuguese Knitting)

Hi, I have been having issues with my hands lately and have been told that this type of knitting is easier on the hands. I found a few videos on this subject and I found it easy to learn.

I'm just wondering if there are other's out there that do this type of knitting.

I've tried it a few times but I always end up going back to my normal way of knitting because it's faster. I do like the Portugese method and really should practice more so that I get faster and more comfortable knitting that way.
