I have a 3g Kindle and love it. I wanted a dedicated reader that I can read anywhere. I tried friends Ipad and the Noon, but the LCD screens had a glare. Today on a flight there was two others in my row. Ipad user, Nook, and me the kindle. Looking across I was glad I went with the kindle. I do have kindle on laptop too.
I use Ipads in my classroom and love them too.
