plus size sweater pattern

Does anyone know where I can find a simple (beginner to intermediate) raglan sleeve plus size cardigan pattern? I've tried bernat, lion brand as well as a few others. I just want a simple pattern with no fancy stitches. I can find them in regular sizes but difficult to find in plus sizes. O yes and I want a free pattern.

This is a pattern generator from the 1960's. You select the type of yarn, the type of sweater, and the size you want. I have no idea about the sizes listed for women. A size 18 is a large, so I'm guessing the 38 is an extra large? These measurements might be referring to chest size.

Edit: when you select a size and it gives you the pattern, the chest size is listed at the top of the pattern. A 40 would give you a chest size of 44 inches, for example.

I hope you've found a pattern you like!!! I remember trying to find a pattern for a PLAIN cardigan to make for my mom earlier this year and it was tough!!!

I ended up buying a Paton's Next Steps booklet all about cardigans and used a pattern from there!! Here's a link for it:

Here is one knitted top down and has sizes through 2x. It looks like you could easily increase the sizes if you need 3x, 4x etc as the stitches and increases seems to be by 2 st per size. Hope this is something you would be interested in.
