mittens using sock yarn

does any one have a pattern (or point me to a place where I might find one) for using sock yarn to make children's mittens?

I have sock yarn left, not enough to make socks, but enough (I think) to make mittens--need pattern.

There's lots of childrens patterns at www.knittingpattencentral.com but it's not very searchable for yarn weight. You can join www.ravelry.com and search the patterns; using advanced search you can use the filters on the left side for mittens, children, and yarn weight, as well as free or paid. That ought to give you lots to choose from.

thank you so much--I've been to both of these sites previously, but this time there was a pattern exactly for sock yarn!!
