...i spent as much time knitting as i do looking up techniques and youtube videos on the different stitches! haha> at some point i'm sure my foundation will be solid enough that i may be able to finish ONE project without looking up a youtube video!
my name is krystle, i'm 29 years old....the big 30 in a few months. i am a hospice registered nurse, mother to a 2 year old daughter. i started crocheting when i worked in a neonatal intensive care unit. started with washcloths, then progressed to scarves and blankets, dresses.....i always longed to knit. it seems knit patterns are just so much prettier in my opinion. more refined in some way. and of course i love vintage styles so all the cool vintage patterns for cardigans and sweaters are knit. so, here i am. not-so-new-to-knitting but still fumbling my way through the dark about a year later. i have knitted a few intermediate skill dresses for my daughter and i am currently making a blanket.
Hi and welcome, Kristie!
Maybe one of the best things is that you're searching around for videos and learning new techniques. That's what we all like to do. You're expanding the kinds of things you can do and trying new patterns. Sounds great to me!
I agree with Ronda, love to see some of your projects. What 'cha Knittin' is perfect for that.
