I went digging into my 10 plastic bins of yarn stash yesterday and found a whole BUNCH of leftover yarn rolled up into balls just sitting there. For some reason I've never thrown them away -- mostly because I think I "could" use it eventually.
So, what should I do with these? They're almost all the same weight and are acrylic and multicolored. The only project I can come up with is to tie them all together and knit a blanket out of it. But the resulting monstrosity could end up making someone dizzy just looking at it!
1) Keep them "just in case"
2) Figure out what to make out of them and actually USE them
3) Just suck it up and throw the whole mess away
A friend of mine taught knitting at a halfway house where she was volunteering. I gave some of my leftover yarn to her. I live in a small condo, so I don't have a lot of storage space. I need to clean out my stash, too. Thanks for all of your ideas!
