States/Countries Blanket
Hi everyone!

Well, it took me about 5 months, but I've finally finished this blanket. I made it from squares found here: http://www.knittingknonsense.com/people_places.html

I made all of the US states and all of the countries found there on that web site, and then added in "special" squares that have meaning to my friends I visit in a bereavement chat room. The center square pattern is one I found on ravelry, looks like candle flames, representing all the candles lit for our lost loved ones.

It almost covers my bed, which is a king size.

That is a great looking blanket! And such an ambitious project.

Wow! You did a grate job! I'd love to make one for my brother who's a sergeant in the army, maybe it'll be done by next Christmas...
