Hi there! I've been trying to make the snail shell purse, and I've knitted all the pieces. No problem there. I am, however, having a lot of difficulty coiling it into a shell shape without it curling. I can't make it stay flat - tend to turn into a cone, really, which isn't that helpful for a purse!
Hmmm, I haven't tried this, but I wonder if wetting it and then shaping it and letting it dry might help? I saw that recommended in a rounded rug pattern I was thinking of doing.
I'm having the same problem. It seems to prefer the cone shape rather than the flat shape. I'll try the water trick as well. Let me know how yours turns out.
