Lion Brand "I Felt Like It " hat - yarn question

This pattern calls for Lion Brand Landscapes ... which is 50% wool and 50% Acrylic I want to use WOTA ... which I have been using on my other felted hats. What kind of difference do you think using 100% wool will make in the felting and size? Once you get to the crown the number of stitches is almsot the same as the WOTA hat ...the guage is also almost the same. Here is another post about this hat ...
