Hi Ya'll - here's a hat I just made for a baby girl my friend just had. I know you can't tell that well, but I used a light pink ribbon through it. Not perfect but it's the best hat I've made so far. I used DPNs for the first time! YAY! It was easier than I thought it would be :D

believe me...i've knitted so many hats that turned out terribly! this was the first one to turn out right! my son looks like a rastafarian in the hat I made him

Hi Vanessa - yes, this was a free pattern posted here on knittinghelp. It's in the hat section on the bottom under baby hats. It's called Ellen's Ruffled Hat. I did it because it said beginner
