my LYS had one skein left of this amazing yarn. it was pricey, but so beautiful, i had to buy it. anyway, the reddish color in it matches my winter coat to a "T". this yarn deserved a fabulous stitch. on another site i saw someone working this stitch on a skinny scarf and i knew it was the one! here is the work in progress:
the yarn is: Schaeffer Yarns, Hand Painted Luxury Fibers; Esperanza, Color Concepts, Shirley Chisholm
the pattern... it did come from a free site, but i dont remember which, so ill post it with that disclaimer.....
even # of stitches
row 1: K1,S1,K1,PSSO, then before you drop it, knit into the back of it
row 2: P2tog, before you drop them P btwn the stitches then slip them off the needle.
repeat those 2 rows the length of the item. it takes up probably 3 times the amount of yarn, but the outcome is amazing. i love it!
