I took Sophia to the doctor today to get her echo cardiogram (she was born with a hole in her heart) and the doctor called to tell us that it is gone! It grew closed as she has gotten bigger. We are so happy that I had to tell you all And now back to your regularly scheduled knitting :D

My SIL's 2 nieces were born with the same thing, they inherited from their daddy and his sister and mom but all had to have surgery for it

And wouldn't you know it, but your good news just brightened my day, too my nephew (2 months) was born with a hole in his heart, as well, and we've all been worried about it - it's great to hear about Sophia!! What a weight off your shoulders...
My doctor discovered my son had a murmur when he was just a tot. I well remember those agonizing days waiting to see the specialist. Luckily for us it was a case of "noisy heart - skinny body". Nothing to worry about.
