I am starting a new sweater that uses the Bramble Stitch. Does anyone know what it means when it says, "k1,p1,k1 into next stitch?" I'm confused about the "into next stitch part."
You're going to be making an increase, by knitting more than once into the same stitch.
Knit into the stitch as normal, but don't slide it off the needle. Bring the yarn forward between the needles and purl into that same stitch again, but still don't slide it off. Bring the yarn to the back, knit into the stitch a final time and then slide it off. You'll have 3 stitches where you had one. Magic!
