Something cool for Kansas City metro knitters...
I was at Yarn Shop and More the other day, and they're selling grab bags to benefit the Whisper Walk for ovarian cancer.

I don't know how long they're going to be running it, but for $10 you get a mystery bag of yarn with 3 skeins in it (I believe the yarns in each bag are the same type or at least coordinate). The yarns are pretty nice, and worth more than the $10 you pay -- my bag had $40's worth.

Anyway, it might be worth checking out if you're in the area.

No, I am not ashamed that I have a major crush on a man who dressed in tights and made faces for most of the 80's, and now plays a crippled drug addicted doctor...and is almost the same age as my father.

Hey~
I am in Lawrence, and get to Kansas City every once in awhile. I wonder if they are all gone now (surely)
Does anyone come to the Yarn Barn in Lawrence? If so, PM me for my # and we'll go together!
They have ongoing classes if I remember right, it's been awhile since I have been there.
I will stop in tomorrow and let you all know what I've found!
