Help with chevron pattern
I need help with this pattern. k1, ssk, * k4, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, k4, sl next 2 sts together as if to knit, k1, psso; rep from * to last 3 sts, end k2tog, k1.

the part that is confusing me is the k1, yo, k1 in next st. Does that mean to do all of that in one stitch only? Also, the sl next 2 sts together as if to knit. Is that a SSK? Please help!

Yes, k, yo, k all in the one stitch. Knit, don't slide it off, move the yarn to the front, and knit in the same stitch again. You'll have 3 where you had one.

On the sl next 2 sts together as if to knit, k1, psso; slip the two stitches as if you are going to knit them together, then knit one and pass those two stitches over.
