sock cuff
Ok, I am doing socks. Cast on 80 sts and the pattern is k1,p2,k1. For some reason after the first round I ended up ending on p2 and my next needle has p2 as its first sts. I counted and I have 80 sts. I checked to see if I Messed up the pattern somewhere and I didn't. Should I start all over? I can't figure out what the heck happened.

So you lost 2 knit stitches somewhere? Maybe you could just squeeze in a couple of increases.

They may be right, in this particular case, and even if not, they may drop off pieces of information which will come in very handy if you file them away carefully in your brain for future reference. ~Elizabeth Zimmerman
