is Lamb's Pride worsted "heavy worsted"?

Lamb's Pride worsted...seems like plain old worsted to me, but LYS owner told me it was heavy worsted. ?
I guess I am wondering if it's true, do you agree with her?...
I don't want to cast on and end up frogging later.
In the meantime, I'll just busy myself with a gauge swatch.
I just don't want a thin hat if heavy worsted would knit up cozier and warmer.

YES YES YES. At least, that's my humble opinion. Actually, I'm very interested in what other people think about this. When I'm knitting with it, I always think "Did I accidentally get bulky?" but the gauge isn't THAT different. (New Year's Resolution...learn how to spell guage without a spell check.)

i think it is yes. definitely heavier than cascade 220
