How Do I Avoid
How do I avoid having the last stitch of each row from coming out so much larger than the previous ones? I pull the yarn quite snug, but it still ends up larger than the rest which then turns out to be a problem at the beginning of the next row. I'm trying to make a garter edge on a baby sweater.

In one of the videos, Amy demonstrates slipping the last stitch instead of knitting it. I often do this. It doesn't make the stitch look shorter, but it stretches it, in turn making the edges look so much cleaner.

After you insert your needle in the second stitch on the next row, pull your yarn tight and hold it tight as you knit the second stitch. That should help a lot. Or you can try slipping the first stitch of each row.
