awwwwesome! I actually found this too. I am just trying to decide if there is any real reason why i would have to knit an inch of ribbing first.... :thinking: i don't think i would HAVE too...

yeah i know... i am only fretting about the idea of it because the danica scarf that i am working on has a really tight cast on row, even though i almost always cast on with double needles will have to think on it.... :thinking:
For an entrelac anything it's more the type of cast on... backwards loop was recommended for Lady Eleanor, and a knitted caston is looser than longtail. Actually, I figured out a trick - I cast on one extra stitch, but didn't use it in the first row of triangles (skipped it on the right edge, I think) and that helped a lot to keep the corners from pulling in.
