OT-kitties under my porch!
I have a bit of a problem. I have a whole family (5 kittens, 1 mom) who decided to be born under my back porch 6 weeks ago. The area they are in is totally inaccessable unless we rip out the floor, which might cause the floor to collapse because of the beams holding it up. So, we decided to wait for momma kitty to bring out the little ones so we could grab them. Except today all but 1 came out. There is a little gray one just sitting in there (we can see w/ a flashlight thru the hole they come and go from). Mom won't go back in and get him, and he's not coming out. What do we do????
Anyway... here are some cute pics to aid in the need for help because of the obscene cuteness...

They are cute!!
I would think the gray one wil come out on his own, eventually he will get hungry and need to eat. Can you try to lure him out with a can of tuna or something similar? I know anytime I open a can of tuna all my cats come running trying to get a taste of the yummy goodness.

Obscene Cuteness
Darling! I am currently bottlefeeding a kitten brought home by dh this past week. The guys at work (softies) each took one as the litter was in an old wreck car they were going to cut up to recycle the metal
They coaxed them out with pizza:rollseyes:

Have fun!

I kitties! If the kitten doesn't come out on its own, try contacting a local ASPCA or rescue group for assistance. I've had similar things happen. Most of the time the little ones come out with bribery such as food, but I've heard of some who won't budge. Keep us posted!

My 20 year old cat Hobbes was from a litter of kittens that took up under the mobile home I was living in at the time! But the momma was a house cat that was dumped with the litter, the kittens were not so friendly at the time, imagine 3 or 4 kittens with fuzzy hissy faces! I had to catch Hobbes by covering her up with a big towel and then I had to win her over. Now she is my senior citizen cat who is my shadow...

Good luck catching that little guy...and more pictures!

is there a humane society or animal control in your area? if the tuna doesn't work, and you are worried it might not survive, I'd call them. I bet they are all cute!
