Dying superwash with Kool Aid or Wilton's?

Does superwash roving or yarn dye okay with either of these? I'm in an apartment, and don't have the space or want to deal with anything dangerous or chemical. I'd like to do some superwash roving i think. Will it work? Will it be colorfast?
