Help with binding off pattern question
Hello! This is my first post. I taught myself to knit, and unfortunately don't know anyone to ask this question. I know how to bind off, but my pattern says, "bind off 4 stitches at armhole edge 2 times, then remaining stiches 1 time for shoulder." I'm stumped! I would read that as bind of 8 stiches, then the rest, but I'm sure that's not what the author meant, because that would mean simply bind off all stitches! Can anyone help? Thank you so much!

You're beginning to shape the armhole here. So bind off 4 sts at armhole edge, finish the row, do your next row and when you're back to the armhole edge again, bind off 4 sts for the second time. Finish the row, do the next and when you're back to the armhole edge again bind off the remaining sts. Make sense?
