Do you actually have an allergy..as in you get hives and swell up? Or are you just sensitive to it and find it itchy? I can't wear most wool clothing, even merino wool. Its just too itchy for me. However, wool socks are fine. I have no problem at all with them. The skin on feet is a LOT less sensitive.

Hi Jan,
I actually get hives and get red and itchy. The arches of my feet are particularly sensitive. I am very weird. However; my stepson and wife gave me a cashmere top last Christmas and I wore it for the first time yesterday and did OK. Wouldn't you know!!!!!!!!!! It was quite tolerable. I use Fixation for my socks.

Beautiful sox Jan. You did a marvelous job on them. I too am "break out" allergic to wool. You learn something every day from this site. What IS Fixation?
