first socks/slippers!
These would be my first attempt at socks, which I am using for slippers because they're so thick I don't think they'd fit under my shoes!
But they are warm.

Pay no attention to the swollen ankles. lol!

They are beautiful! I love the yarn -- what is it? Great job -- I can't believe they're your first socks!

Thanks!
Ya know, I have no idea what the yarn is. I think it may be some Lion Brand? My mother had some in her stash, she was always knitting slippers with it.

Very nice! Have you thought about putting them on slipper pads so they last longer?

Thank you MadDeb. Thats a very good idea, about the slipper pads. My mother did that sometimes with the slippers she knit.
