Still working on my first sock..

Hi everyone...I am still attempting this:
http://www.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/pat...s+striped+sock please decypher what "turn heel" part means....I get the instructions, but don't quite get what to "end up" with..1 more st on each dec row end up with 12 sts...Which is the dec row??? Thanks sooo much Cheley

Turn Heel
Next Row (RS) Sl 1, k 11, skp, k 1, turn.
Next Row Sl 1, p 5, p2tog, p 1, turn.
Next Row Sl 1, k 6, skp, k 1, turn.
Next Row Sl 1, p 7, p2tog, p 1, turn.
Continue to work in this manner, having 1 more st before decs on each row until 12 sts remain.

All rows are decrease rows, I think, so it's probably just a matter of following exactly what the pattern says.

So you start with 20 sts on needle for the heel flap, and now you're starting your short row shaping of the heel cup.

Turn Heel
Next Row (RS) Sl 1, k 11, skp, k 1, turn. This row "uses" 15 stitches, and leaves you with 14 + the 5 unworked = 19
Next Row Sl 1, p 5, p2tog, p 1, turn. This row "uses" 9 stitches, and leaves you with 8 + the 10 unworked = 18
Next Row Sl 1, k 6, skp, k 1, turn. This row "uses" 10 stitches, and leaves you with 9 + the 8 unworked = 17
Next Row Sl 1, p 7, p2tog, p 1, turn. This row "uses" 11 stitches, and leaves you with 10 + the 6 unworked = 16
Continue to work in this manner, having 1 more st before decs on each row until 12 sts remain.
So your next row would be:
Sl1, k8, skp, k1, turn - which will use up 12, leave you with 11 + 5 unworked = 15
next Sl1, p9, p2tog, p1, turn - uses 13, leaves 12 + 2 = 14
next sl 1, k10, skp, k1 - uses all 14, leaves 13
last row sl1, p10, p2tog - uses 13, leaves you with 12 - NO I miscounted, hang on.......purl 10, not 11.

So, like Suzeeq posted, just work as they are stated...I guess I got a little freaked by the whole wording thing so therefore both "needles" being worked are dec rows? Right? Thanks sooo much for you helpCheley
