confused about pattern

ok so i'm making the debbie bliss baby shrug and i'm up to the sleeve shaping and i dont know whats wrong with my brain tonight lol. i'm confused about this part:

Sleeve shaping

Cast off 5(6:7:8:9) sts at beg

of next and 3 foll alt rows.
foll: following
alt: alternate
ok so i cast off 5 stitches at the next row and now do i bind off 5 every other row? or bind off 5 for 4 rows?
i just dont want to mess up since i'm almost done with it.

Bind off 5 sts at beginning of every other row until you have done that 4 times total.
so the rows will be BO row, p row, bo, p, bo, p, bo p.
