Help with Debbie Bliss pattern
Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum, but I love knitting and am a web addict, so I have a feeling this will become a second home
I need help! I found this pattern for free on the web.
http://www.allaboutyou.com/craft/Kni...bled-jacket/v1
It is from her Cashmerino book (which I don't have). It calls for you to cast off straight across the back (no shoulder shaping). When it comes the shoulder shaping at the top of the left and right fronts I'm lost.
See, each front has 4 large cables running up. The pattern calls for you to just cast off one cable to be joined to the back, the other three are continued to the center back. I think this will make the collar ginormous and the shoulders weird and too small....
Should I perhaps try binding off three cables worth of stitches and just continuing one cable to the back neck for collar?
Also, what does she mean by "Taking incs at front edge into reverse st st, patt 1 row"? (I understand the abbreviations, its the idea I don't get, what am I supposed to do with the new stitches?)
Has anyone out there knit this? It is gorgeous, but I'm lost!
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!!!

OMG that is a beautiful sweater. OMG that is SO beyond my skills, time and patience levels right now. You MUST promise to share pix once done! I hope you find the answers you seek. Everyone here is VERY helpful, except for me obviously cause I'm still having just looked at the sweater and not even glimpsing at the pattern yet.
