Please help...stuck on instructions
I am making my first baby hat. I'm on the last row. The instructions say to gather the remaining stitches & sew securely. Can someome tell me how to do this please?

Run your working yarn through the live stitches you have left- you'll have to cut it off with a tail of a few inches, thread it on a tapestry needle and run it through the live stitches. Then you can drop the stitches off the needle and pull the tail tight. It closes up the top of the hat.
