Hoping to start a charity thing

Hello fellow knitters
Have you ever watched a program called "International Fellowship of Christians and Jews?"
I have seen it a number of times and have been very moved by it. It is a charity that supports elderly Jews (and children from many nations) providing them with the help they need . Some are everyday needs- like blankets. There are lots of Jewish people who live in the former Soviet Union and depend on this ministry to be fed and kept warm. I have written to IFCJ to ask if donations of blankets can be made. So far its just an idea but please let me know if you are interested

I heard from Ifcj and they dont accept this type of donations because of customs
