If you are knitting for A4A they garments of any type have to be wool or mostly wool..the more the better.

The pattern was given to me by someone who took a class at another LYS. There isn't copyright info on it, but I'd be afraid to post the entire thing. Here's the basics;

Using sock yarn CO about 54 stitches or a multiple of 6. K3P3 for about 5 in and BO 10 st for the thumb and CO on 10 stitches when you come back around to that same spot. Knit for another 2 in or so and BO. Super easy.
