I'm a bit farther away, in Windsor. I lived in Oakville for a year for college in 02/03 Spent alot of time in Mississauga when we went out since Oakville had little more than a Walmart and Canadian Tire at the time. lol.
I'm originally from Toronto but moved further North 4 yrs ago. Anytime I'm back in Toronto I go to a lovely yarn shop off the Danforth ( can't remember the name) but it's between Main and Woodbine on the north side I believe...it has the best yarns and the staff have helped me many a time to figure out a difficult pattern.
I 'm currently knitting a bright red 'Fishtail Lace ' scarf for my daughter's 21st birthday. I'll post a pic when i'm done.
