Vinyl and knitting pattern?
I got a little purse at a yarn shop over the summer on vacation. It is a vinyl base with holes that you knit through. I can figure it out on my own I am sure, but want to know if anyone has seen any patterns using vinyl and yarn?
I just picked up a large remnant at Joann's and want to do something like this with it!

The only way I have heard of is with crochet, not knitting. This bag is made with credit cards as part of the construction. it might give you an idea to work with.

Perhaps crochet a edge around the vinyl and pick up stitches from that to knit on.
