Please Help

I am a new knitter and have only made a couple of scarves. I found a pattern that says to cast on 33sts - Rows 1 and 3 (WS). I don't know how to start on the wrong side?

I think this is just telling you that Rows 1 and 3 are wrong side rows but I am not sure. I'm sure someone else will be able to tell you if I am wrong.

Sounds like to me that, basically, after you cast on your 33 stitches you will start with row 1 (since they are referring to is as a WS row then all odd numbered rows will comprise your wrong side. You don't have to do anything "special" to knit on the wrong side other than just follow the pattern.)

you'll knit row 1 as directed, then go to row 2 and then go back to the directions for row 1 and knit them again as they are also directions for row 3.

As a very wise and all knowing knitter on this forum always says (I think it's Ingrid) "trust the pattern".

Astonh is right, follow that there is no video for ws so thats the caption for wrong side and that it
