Another Log Cabin square!

I too did a Log Cabin Square inspired by Jan's square. I based it off of the Mason-Dixon Modern Log Cabin baby blanket. Highly altered tho, to make it square and the size I was looking for 12 inches by 12 inches. I learned a couple things on this square, a lesson on gauge (I seem to keep having to relearn this lesson) and one on garter-stitch intarsia (as you'll see up close in the 2nd picture. I didn't do a perfect job, but it sure was fun!

At Borders today I got into a conversation with another knitter (isn't if funny how we 'find' each other). She has actually knitted the coolest socks with that pattern. I mean, really really cool. After the holidays she's going to teach me how. She also has her own sheep, and llamas, etc. She does EVERYTHING she can to have the best wool.

Your square is really nice, and it's good that you had fun with it.
