saw this shawl at Rhinebeck, it's so beautiful
Isn't this gorgeous? I took pictures of this lady and her shawl because that's one of my favorite colour combinations but I never thought to do a shawl with it...

does that pattern look familiar to anyone? I just love it. It's kind of hard to see coz it's small...

Hiya,
Isn't that the "ostrich plume" lace stitch pattern? With lovely color changes? Or maybe it's "feather and fan". Can't really tell but definitely one or the other. Looks kinda like it's one of those with a cable in between or something or a plain st st panel with purls on the side and the lace panels in between. Wait a tic.... think I at least found the lace pattern that is for that shawl... here it's the dark purple section...http://elann.com/ShowFreePattern.asp?Id=129024

scroll down to the bottom and look at the section of shawl on the right side..........

it looks a little like this, but more balanced.

Thanks! I think it looks the most like the one at knitty.com but they are all close...

I meant to post this bigger picture where you can see it more clearly.
I just love this shawl! Too bad this lady isn't looking around here... that would be fun.

I was thinking orca tails too. Whatever it is, it's gorgeous!
