Surprise presents
Every so often I'll come into work and find a new pattern book, or a little fold out thing that has 5 or 6 patterns in it. One of the nurses where I work gets them for me when she sees them cheap somewhere. Even though some of the things I'd never make because they are a little corny, its so cute that she sees them and thinks of me. I came back from a little Thanksgiving vacation to find one with baby dresses, she said so I could make something for my niece. She's so nice!!

said Boo.

I'll second and third that.

How is your little niece? and how old is she now?

All the Best

My niece is just over 13 months now. I can't believe it! I went to visit her for her birthday, and she's so different from the last time I saw her (back in April), she's like a kid now...walking everywhere and talking.

I do the same kind of thing to some people I know who are just starting out knitting.
patterns that match their style, but are free online.
and I loan books with a return date of next spring sometime
