Child's earflap hat pattern?
Does anyone have a pattern for a child's earflap hat? I've been looking on line but can't find what I'm looking for. I'd like a pattern where you first make the cap, then pick up and knit the earflaps.

Does it have to be in that order?

Not regular earflaps, but the shape works..

Not an earflap hat, but would keep a head and ears warm -

You could find a hat you like, then just pick up and add the ear flaps on your own. Jook at another pattern that does have earflaps to get the general shape.

Wow Thanks!
Thanks so much. The video on the child's earflap hat is excellent and not only did I get a pattern, but it helped me with another problem I was encountering...casting on work in progress!

I would love to have the earflap pattern from this link:
http://yarnsticks.wordpress.com/2006/07/16/89/

But I have clicked all the links on the site and cannot find the actual pattern. What am I doing wrong?
