Plain vest pattern
I have fallen in love with the King Charles brocade and would like to make a vest out of it. Does anyone have a link to a very basic sweater vest pattern I could adapt to this stitch? (KC brocade is from Barbara Walker's second Treasury, and is a knit - purl pattern.)

Or... pick an appropriate sweater pattern and just make the front and back. Sew together, add ribbing around the armholes and neck - presto. Your vest.

Whatever comes easiest for you.
