Men's fitted jumper- large needles

Hi all,
this is my first post and I'm after some advice for an easy mens jumper. I'm just finishing up a bit of a tricky project for me, and would like to do something for the hubbie but feel like having a fairly easy and rapid project this time. Thinking maybe a rib, or something fairly plain, and would quite like to use a chunky wool and large needles. Hope I'm not asking too much here! Thanks for any advice.

What sort of advice... Yarn, needle size, patterns? There are lots of pattern sites - www.knittingpatterncentral.com, www.thedailyknitter.com, www.knitlist.com/patterns

If you don't mind buying a book for the pattern (it's reasonably priced and has some other great patterns) you could buy the Knitter's Almanac by Elizabeth Zimmerman and make the Hurry-up Sweater. It's done in the round using bulky yarn at 2.5 stitches to the inch and works up pretty fast.
