2008 Year of the Stash! Retiring on Dec 31!

I'm super impressed! THAT is my goal for the year...to use up what I have and wait for the reward. Waiting is hard for me in everything so I think overall, patience is something I need to learn this year. YIKES!

I finally got my stash input at ravelry; I have a lot more sock yarn than I thought! Looks like I'll be knitting socks over the next few months.

I'm not going into my stash until I finish my wips. One more to go!

This year, I want to try my best to knit Stash Only...unless something REALLY SPECIAL knocks me over the head!
I think the "Queue" thing over at Ravelry really helps me keep my focus on projects planned for current Stash.

I so need to knit from my stash this year exclusively Art Lady.
I am drowning in yarn here and I have to be honest. I have hundreds of skeins in every brand, style and weight that can be imagined. I could knit for the next 10 years and never run out, as slow as I knit. I just do not know how I will ever get it all posted on Ravery. I soooooo need this thread to keep me knitting and NOT buying yarn again this year. Ever since I bought my new reward yarn in December for 2007, I have the "Yarn Buying Desire Again"....... Heaven help my Addiction......

I'm not good at waiting either, I just refused to buy yarn and would not even look at it last year. But I must confess that since I bought my reward yarn in December I am having a hard time not wanting to buy. You see when I let myself look..... I buy ..... How weak I seem to be, when it comes to yarn. Hopefull we all can help each other here and not buy any new yarn in 2008 !!!

Thank you Veekcee. I really appreciate the vote of confidence , but if you read my other post, I am already having a hard time this year, since I have allowed myself to actually buy yarn. I think, in order for this to actually work for me again this year, I will have to go cold turkey, no yarn, just like I did last year. We will see if I can get control.

i love your blog! i think i just read the whole thing lady m! i like that you knit that boucle even when you didn't want to you should totaly share that adorable bootie pattern too (hint hint)
