I liked the colors too, but what really matters is whether or not the person the each respect hat was intended for liked it.

What did you think of the pattern? I made adjustments (as you can see), and I thought the ear flaps according to pattern could've been better.

I totally agree with you, when you're making for others tailoring to their tastes is all important .

I like the pattern okay, but I haven't had a lot of experience with knitted hat patterns to compare it to others. If I make another one I'll probably do wider earflaps. The only adjustment I made was to make the overall size slightly smaller.

Super job. I want to knit a hat with earflaps for myself for skiing, but since I can't ski this year I haven't done it. I really like your pattern.
