Washing felted clogs??
After clogs have been felted to the desired size and worn, can they be washed? By hand or machine? In other words, will they continue to felt?

I think they only felt to a certain point. To be safe I think hand washing in cool water would be best.

And then cram a bunch of plain paper into them to help them keep their shape. Not newspaper, however, the ink may transfer.

I've washed ours several times by hand in cold water and air dried them outside. they haven't felted any further than the original felting.

Just adding a YES - to the hand wash cold suggestions. That's what I do with my DH's pair.
