Need some prayers-brief update pg 5

Just a brief update...

I have the appointment with the breast specialist on 2/11. I am optimistic that all will be well. I have a feeling that the needle biopsy will be recommended and believe it or not, I'm okay with that. In the event that there is cancer (which again I'm 98% sure it isn't) the breast specialist works with Overlook hospital in New Jersey and they specialize in cancer options and treatments. So I will be in the best of hands.

I honestly think this lump is a result of an injury that I had TOTALLY forgotten about until after I had the mammo & U/S. So we shall see what happens.

Thanks again everyone for all of the well wishes and prayers. It means a lot to me.

I visited the breast specialist yesterday. She feels strongly that the lump is fatty glandular tissue because of the way it is shaped and how it looks like it blends in with the fat glands in the breast. She siad is looks like a smudged thumbprint. She did suggest that I do the ultrasound biopsy just to be 1000000% sure. She scheduled me tentatively for 2/18. But she said that if she couldn't fit me in for that day (apparently there are several biopsies scheduled for that day) I could choose my second choice of dates which would be 3/21.

I feel a little bit more relieved and last night was the first time I slept well in a while.

So thanks again for all your prayers and support and I will definitely keep you all updated.
