How to "knit across sleeve sts"?
Hello,

I am new to the forum and desperately need a little help. I am a relatively new knitter and recently started a baby jacket pattern (out of the pattern a day knitting calender 2007- June 16th - Rainbow Set). the pattern requires to knit the sleeves separately (flat) and then put both on a stitch holder (each 28 stitches). Then to knit the jacket. Once the decreases start the pattern states:

"Next Row: Cast off for underarms as follows: K32sts, cast off 8, K52, cast off 8, K32.
Next Row: Knit to cast off sts, place stitch marker on needle, knit across sleeve sts, place marker on needle, knit to cast off sts, place marker on needle, knit across sleeve sts, place marker on needle knit to end of row"

I am assuming the "knit across sleeve sts" means that I join the sleeves to the main body and knit across them? Is that correct. The stitch count makes sense this way but I just want to confirm before I do this.

Thanks a lot.

Sarah
